Truly Inspirational....About the founder of CERAMIC BAZAAR......!!

Hello friends, after a long time in the midnight with listening songs in my new Samsung Galaxy Fit, I am here again to write something... something about my father, something about my Best buddy, something about my best friend for ever...something about the founder of Ceramic Bazaar...Mr Harkant..)..

So, to start with, he borned in the small village called Lavanpur near Morbi. Brought up in Morbi, after having his B.com Degree, the one time KUSTI CHAMPION  joined the Tiles manufacturing factory where his elder brothers used to work. Well, this factory was owned by all his five brothers jointly. So, more persons into manufacturing side... but no one to sell it.....

However, as he was in creative in his mind and wanted to do something in life his own, he came to Gandhinagsr where his elder sister lived and due to help of her he started a shop of Tiles in Paldi, Ahmedabad..(Which was only 150 sq. ft and that too in rental...). As, he had seen Ahmedabad as one of the emerging city in India..

Well, after staring the shop, he wanted to run it effectively and moreover he had three small childern and a wife to care....so for that he wanted money and for that he wanted orders and for that he wanted to work hard hard and hard.

To be frank, I have never seen a single day where he went to sleep after having a lunch (and that too follows till this age.....).. In his staring struggle period, he used to do travel from Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad.

After doing the same for 3 to 4 years, he bought a home in the area near to his shop. (First step of his success....:)..Well, as i knew he had a lot of pressure at that time as he had to make graduate his three childern.. So, about their education, tution fees.... n many other matters were involved. Still, he faced all the situation very strongly.

He got sucess in not only his personal life..., in proffessional life as well. After started selling Tiles in the small 150 sq. ft rental shop, he quickly adopted it and started buying the shops near to his small shop and convert into a 1500 sq. ft showroom quickly. And, recently, a mammoth 7500 sq. ft showroom.. the first ever in Ahmedabad....

Well, that's not enough, he has made a  big BRAND to his showroom as well. Today if someone talks about Morbi Tiles (now Ceramic Bazaar).... it has been considered as the greatly recommended showroom to purchase home materials. Be it in the QUALITY, PRICE OR SERVICE....

Today the big organizations like; Navratna Organization, Safal Group, Himalaya Group, etc.. are the regular clients of Ceramic Bazaar...Besides the organizations, the big Architects like, Mr. Kamaldas Mangaldas, Mr. Prashantbhai, Mr. Apurva Vakharia. etc.. are the regular clients of Ceramic Bazzar. Besides all these, the concept that he has introduced is awesum....[ The concept about the Bazaar is for all, so you can get the varities from lower price to highest price....considering the first quality material...).

Well, if I share any incidence about my papa (The founder of Ceramic Bazaar)..., in the age of 56 he has still the dedication that he used to work with us from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm..and that too from Monday to Saturday..(I used to get tire sometime while working, however I have never seen him tired. and this is the biggest inspiration, I get from my BOSS...)...

Today, I am happy to announce that we have achieved an approx. turnover of Rs. 45 lacs of month of April and May 2011...which was approx. of Rs. 30 lacs last year period..All credit goes to him only...

In the last I would say that one should always try until he get success...n never look back.....

We also take care for our clients.......!!

 Hello Everyone,

So again after a long time again, I am here to share my views. Actually, there was no any plan to write a blog, but today's incident allowed me to do the same.

It was about 3:30 PM ( 5 / 2 / 2010), I was busy in co - ordinating with Mr. Mustufabhai (one of the client) and suddenly we heard a voice of one of the woman. First it feels a strange voice, but then we realised that she was crying.

So, immediately we rushed to the main gate and saw that one of my client slipped of from the steps while coming to our showroom and there was a bleeding from her head heavily. After seeing that scene, I seriously got nervous and rushed immediately to "Dave" Medical stores (2 min. walking distance from my place) and bought the first - aid kit for her.
Well, seriously I got dumbo...:(. At that moment, I actually realized that I don't know even how to give the proper first aid treatment to the injured person. Thank god my brother and Dilipbhai (one of the employee) was present at that place and they tighted the first aid roll to that lady.

As she felt some kind of relief, we asked her to give any of her relative's contact number. She first denied, but due to our force she gave us a number. So, we called them up and informed them about the status. However, his son (the person whom we had called) was out of Ahmedabad and it was impossible for him to reach here at that time.

Furthermore, at that time also, the bleeding was continuously happening from her head, so we decided to admit her in a near by hospital (Shrusut Hospital).  I took her to the hospital and after having all kind of Doctor treatment I dropped that lady to her home to make sure that she reach her home safely. While dropping her home, I realised that her home was about to RENOVATE and so, she had come to us to buy the HOME MATERIALS.

Truly speaking, we don't know that lady's name yet, but it feels us great that at last we were able to help her in difficult situations.

Now, we only hope that the lady get well soon and come to us soon to BUY HER HOME MATERIAL PRODUCTS.......:P........:).......;)

Summary:-  To Help the people in their difficult period is the first duty of MANKIND.

We got our first international order..!! yippie........!!

Hello everyone,

We are happy to announce that we have got our first ever international order today. The country at which the materials are going to ship is "UGANDA". The materials like;  wall Tiles, vitrified Tiles (Floor Tiles), wash-basins, commode, all bath fitting accessaries (including all types of Tabs, Floor - Trap, Nepkin Holders, Mirrors etc) will be delievered at the client's place.  Actually, the client is belonging to Mumbai and he is going to make a big factory and his bunglow in Uganda.

Well, overhere, you must be thinking how we got such an order??!! Truly speaking we also didn't know that  until yesterday night. Today, in the morning, when we were busy with our daily local clients, all of a sudden Mr. Harkant's (owner of the firm - my papa) one of the old business friend came to the office. Actually, he (Mr. Tapan) and my papa used to do business in the same local ceramic market before one decade. But, after certain years, Mr. Tapan left doing business and joined in one of the "Plastic Bottles Manufactring" company at Mumbai as the sales manager. As he used to be an honest and sincere employee, he became the right hand of his  sheth (Boss) in shorter period of time.

The sheth who basically hails from Mumbai used to travel to Uganda often as his family lives there only. However, as he wants to expand his business to an international level, he soon wants to open the factory and the sales offices at Uganda.

Come to today's morning, as Mr. Tapan came to the office, he and my papa chat with an almost half and hour and reminded of their "GOLDEN" struggle period. Then, he told us the purpose of his coming and informed us to be prepared to serve his Sheth and make him aware about all the products including all details of them (including pricing, looking, features, comparisions etc). However, we were always prepared as we have an experience in dealing with this industry since last 27 years.

At sharp, 10:30 the "Boss" came in Mercedeces - Benz. Mr. Tapan made introduction of him with us and then the CHALLENGE started. [Because, the client wanted the materials in huge quantity and market is always open for comparision]. Well, we showed him each and every products at the best affordoble price and with the best afoordable services. [Also, we directly called up in the company to supply the vivid materials in CONTAINER with proper packing]. Finally, after 4 to 5 hours, our hardwork worked out.

Mind you, at that time there were also other clients presented at the showroom, and those bought their vivid home materieals as well. (Thanks to Krunal & Ashok).

Summary:- The Contacts and client relationship are always important while dealing in the Business. (Hadn't my papa in contact with Mr. Tapan after he left doing Business or hadn't we proper handle the client we might have lost the order).

9] Many of  well known Architects, Contractors, builders and other retail customers

Here, I am happy to announce that we are going to diversify our business portfolio soon. The new segment which we are going to diversify is Thermal Insulation,Water-Proofing, and other Roofing products.

Why Diversification?

1] Its a new market segment.

2] Highly innovative products.

3] Flexible in any kind of living environment.

4] No maintenance is required.

Product wise reasons...:

--Thermal Insulation: In Ahmedabad the temp. may go up to 49 degree in summer and normally it is around 30 to 35 degree resulting which people end up in suffering from great heat or end up paying high electricity bills by huge consumptions of  A.C. So, to reduce this cost we are introducing this product.

--Water Proofing - Almost every year, Ahmedabad is getting good rain. So, there seems to be major concern for water proofing in basement as well as terrace of any particular home where water gets logged.  Furthermore, even after spending thousands of  rupees most of the time people don't get satisfactory product. So, we are introducing water proofing product to effectively cater our customer problems and demands.

--Roofing Products The main advantages of it are:
- Can be used successfully to cover any Roofs
- No special accessories are required
- Can be used successfully to cover roofs of any pitch

'3idiots!!!!!!!!'

Hello Friends,

Here I am again writing my second blog to share my thoughts!!! Well, I think you may have seen '3idiots'!!(If not, then please go and see friends!!!!!!.... It's full paisa vasool movie..)..

Well, I am not here to give the review about the movie..!!! I am here to just share my views about the movie... Ya.. the good and the bad parts of the movie.......

GOOD PART:--

1] Friends:-- Well,, this movie certainly reminds me about my friends.. more specifically.. my graduation friends..((specially.. Jay(mama),, Akshay(bogus),,Mukesh(muko), others and yes my engineering college, too.."CHAROTAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY CHANGA".. It also reminds me about the 'Dhingamasti' we used to do while my graduation.. Oh.. God.. When will you give back my these most memorable days??..Furthermore,, you really never knows when your friends can be useful to in your life..

2] All is Well:-- Well, this is same as one of the factor..that touch my heart..(Well, its good marketing stratergy.. like.. Munnabhai's jadu ki chhappi) ..though it gives us very good social message.. to make our life happy.. Isn't it??

3]Go for excellence and not for success:--Ya.. it's quite true to be success in our life in our own field.. according to me, the definition of success is how much satisfaction the person is!!! However, to be successful (in world's eye).. people tend to try to achieve success in the most demanded field..(like in the movie.. its engineering). If i speak about me,, I knew that I can express my views better than many of the people.. and that I came to know when I entered in my post graduation.. and now I am trying my best to go for this field!!! means,, to go for such a field when I can use my ideas more effectively..(may be in my business in future!!!!)..

4]Education System Of India:-- Really, the education system of india is worst.. Well, Over here,, in symbi. too, there is still the ordinary exam patterns!!!!!(Though there are case studies in our exams to evaluate us properly!!!!).. But,, if I speak you about primary education,, then the particualr student who has not interested in MATHS... will bunk the lecture of MATHS in the school.. but.. he/she will not bunk the lecture in the tuition. Then, what is the meaning of school and the teachers.?????As,, you all know today the education has became the great medium to earn money..So, our eduacation system will go more worse until it come out of the tutition stratergy......!!!! (Unfortunately.. there is too,, little scope has been left to work towards it.) IT ALL DEPENDS UPON US.....MY FRIENDS.....PLEASE UNDERSTAND IT, FEEL IT AND WORK TOWARDS IT!!!!! PLEASE,, TAKE AN OATH.. WE ALL WILL WORK TOWARDS IT WITH OUR BEST HAND....!!!!!!!!

BAD PARTS--:

1] Raging Scene--: Though, this part is only for our entertainment. But, as per our SC command, the raging has been strictly banned from educational institutes. Well, such scenes may encourage students to rag others for THEIR entertainment..!!!! But, these may be harmful to others you never know!!! (And,, it may be harmful to you also if they register a complaint!!!!!)

2]"DARU"(liquor) scene:-- In this movie, for every enjoyment they made us seen the liquor part!!! Means, in many scenes Amir, Madhavan and Sharaman were enjoying liquor....!!! Isn't it a bad social message????

3] urine in front of Director's home:-- Well, we all know it was just for our entertainment!! But, it may be also a wrong social message......for yongsters.!!!!

WELL, AFTER ALL THE SONGS OF THESE MOVIE IS FANTASTIC!!!

WELL, YOU MAY REPLY ME IF YOU HAVE ANY THOUGHTS REGARDING THIS MOVIE. AND PLEASE HELP ME TO IMPROVE MY ENGLISH AS WELL!!(means if there are any spelling mistakes and any grammatical mistakes then ps ps ps do reply me!!!)

At last, '3idiots' you rock( a whopping 92 cr. business in just 3 days from its release!!!!!!).

Regards,
Keyur Joshi
